Quality Assurance International (QAI), a globally recognized certifying agent, certifies NutraSun Foods as an organic processor. NutraSun must meet the stringent regulations outlined by the Canadian Organic Regime (COR) and the United States Department of Agriculture Organics (USDA Organics) in order to maintain its organic status in both countries. Each producer that grows organic grain must meet organic growing and production standards. In addition, the facility that mills the flour must also meet organic handling and production procedures. The result is a highly controlled process that preserves the integrity of organically labelled consumer products.
